Facial Feminization
These procedures involve reshaping facial features to create a more traditionally feminine appearance. Feminization surgeries may include hairline advancement, forehead contouring, brow lift, rhinoplasty (nose reshaping), lip lift or augmentation, tracheal shave, cheek and jaw contouring, and facial fat grafting. Surgery Requirements
As a member of the World Professional Association for Transgender Health (WPATH), Dr. Jedrzejewski follows the WPATH Standards of Care. Depending on the procedure and insurance provider, patients may be asked to meet several requirements, such as:
- A diagnosis of gender dysphoria from a qualified mental health provider
- One or two letters of support stating the medical necessity of surgery
- Minimum age of 19
- At least 12 months of hormone therapy, unless medically contraindicated

What is a Managed Medi-Cal Plan?
