Advantages of Peritoneal Pullthrough Vaginoplasty
Dr. Celtik has a special focus on robotic Peritoneal Pullthrough (rPPT) Vaginoplasty. Peritoneal Flap Vaginoplasty has gained popularity because of its potential to offer some important benefits, such as natural elasticity and less risk of prolapse. Harvested from the inside of the abdomen, peritoneal tissue also doesn't require pre-operative hair removal, which is often a barrier for patients. Using a robot-assisted approach to the surgery shortens the operative time and gives the surgeon an excellent view of the bladder and rectum, minimizing the risk of injury. Dr. Celtik offers robotic Peritoneal Vaginoplasty as either a primary or revisional surgery.
Alternatively, Dr. Celtik is very experienced with Penile Inversion Vaginoplasty, and also offers Vulvoplasty/Minimal Depth, and Nullification.
Dr. Celtik operates at California Pacific Medical Center – Davies Campus and St. Francis Memorial Hospital in San Francisco, and Greenbrae Surgery Center and Bon Air Surgery Center in Greenbrae.
